Neptune Fish Restaurant is right on the main roundabout in Seahouses so you can’t miss it. It’s just 1 minute walk from the harbour, so it’s a perfect place to grab a bag of fish and chips and head to the benches overlooking the harbour. If the weather doesn’t allow for that, you can sit in the restaurant instead and watch the world go by from there.
The menu includes all the usual favourites, cooked to order if eating in the restaurant so the batter is beautifully fresh and crispy. Unlike some other fish restaurants, the skin is completely removed from the fish at Neptune, so this is the place to come if you either don’t like eating the skin or want to save yourself the work of removing it yourself!
Great for kids because the restaurant has a very family-friendly atmosphere and there’s a kids menu for little ones to order from. And what child doesn’t love chips for tea?
