Old Salt Cottage, 11 Dunstan View, Seahouses NE68 7SF

From the north (approx 1.5hrs from Edinburgh):
Follow the A1 south; take the turn off for the B1342 signposted Northumberland Coastal Route; at the junction turn right, again following signs for the Coastal Route; continue through Waren Mill and Bamburgh until you reach Seahouses; follow the main road round to the right at the first roundabout; at the second roundabout turn left; Dunstan View is on your left opposite the petrol station.
 
From the south (approx 1hr from Newcastle):
Follow the A1 north; take the turn off signposted Ellingham and Preston Tower; at the junction turn left signposted Seahouses; continue through Chathill and past Beadnell until you reach Seahouses; Dunstan View is on your right opposite the petrol station.

Parking: Parking for one car is available in the lane behind Old Salt Cottage. The lane is quite narrow so for ease of turning we’d recommend accessing the lane from the entrance on Dunstan View (on the left at the end of the first terrace of houses) and driving out the exit onto the main road (King Street). Parking on Dunstan View itself isn’t permitted but it’s fine to stop for a couple of minutes to unload your bags and access the cottage from the front door. If you have more than one car with you, unrestricted parking is available on King Street, approximately 100 yards from Dunstan View.
