The Alnwick Garden is made up of 12 acres of beautifully manicured gardens, including the world’s largest Tai Haku Cherry Orchard, a bamboo labyrinth, a walled ornamental garden, a Grand Cascade comprising 120 water jets and the world’s largest Treehouse Restaurant.
Alnwick Garden is a great place to spend a few hours and is large enough to not feel busy, even in the middle of school holidays.
There’s also a plant shop, a gift shop selling a wide range of locally produced goodies, and a cafe and bakery to complete your visit.

Great for kids because there’s loads to keep them entertained. With bamboo mazes, fountains to splash in, crazy golf, and games on the lawn during summer weekends, there’s no shortage of activities to keep them occupied. The various eating options on site mean you can easily spend hours in the gardens on fair weather days.
